Minnow Meets the Big Water Bowl
- 2020 |
Minnow had seen plenty of lakes before, but nothing prepared her for Lake Huron.
As far as she could see, there was water. No opposite shore. No end in sight.
Naturally, she did what any curious little red dog would do—she walked right in.
Before long, she was swimming through the clear blue water as if she’d been doing it her whole life. The waves, the sandy shoreline, and the endless horizon quickly became one giant playground.
From that day on, Lake Huron earned a new name…
The Big Water Bowl.
And Minnow couldn’t wait to jump back in every chance she got. 🐾
Minnow First Retrieve
Some dogs have to be taught to retrieve.
Not Minnow.
The very first time something landed in the water, she didn’t hesitate. She splashed in, swam straight to it, picked it up, and proudly brought it all the way back.
It was one of those moments when you realize a dog is doing exactly what she was born to do.
From that day on, every trip to the water meant one question:
“Throw it again?”
And the answer was always… yes. 🐾
